metal bender
In order to make the stool I wanted to make to go along with the table, I needed a ring of 3/8” steel flat stock for a foot rest. I probably could have found someone to bend it for me but I decided to build a tool to do it instead. This thing easily puts a nice clean bend in flat stock by applying a little pressure and then rolling it through with the handle. Then you tighten it a bit more and do it again until you get the radius you’re looking for. I’d like see how it does on a tube but I haven’t tested that yet. Anyone need a curve put into steel?
