Prairie Creek

Several years ago, I went to grab my (already old) Canon 20D DSLR out of the camera bag for a project and found that it was entirely dead. I held onto my lenses of course, knowing I’d get another body eventually. Eventually turned out to be the better part of a decade but I was generously gifted a used Canon EOS R7 body and I can finally put my twenty-year-old DSLR lenses into use again. Went for a nice family walk at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park today and there were some very cool mushrooms popping up. I’m floored by what you can get out of high-ISO images with modern photo editing software. Many more images and thoughts to come but here’s a few snaps.
