DIY 2x Macro Lens

I was surfing Printables for photography-related stuff and came across this really cool project to make a macro lens from an inexpensive ($26) microscope objective. The lens arrived today and I assembled it. It needs to be operated manually and it’s definitely a bit tricky to get good lighting and focus but I think it works extremely well and I’m delighted to expand my photographic horizons for a tenth of the cost of even low-end equipment. It opens up a tiny new world of possibilities.
