Arcata Marsh

Visited the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary this morning to see what I could see. Also drive through the bottoms where I saw that White-crowned Sparrow - the only one of many dozens who was patient enough for me to get my camera ready.

  • A lineup of unidentified shorebirds on the ruins of the old jetty

  • Marbled Godwit (Limosa fedoa)

  • Snowy Egret (Egretta thula)

  • White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys)

All photos taken with a Canon R7 and EF f/4 70-200mm f/4 L lens.
