Inspired by a friend’s small bag, I made this for my partner. It’s honestly still a bit in-progress but the basic idea worked reasonably well. My 3d printer only prints up to 7x7 inches so it had to be constructed from four interlocking plates which were then glued to a board. 3D printing leaves tell-tale layer signs so the plates were sanded with fine grit paper to smooth the surface. It was hard to get adequate and even clamping pressure across the very large surface and it took lots of repositioning to get what is still a fairly uneven stamp. I also didn’t quite get the color I was hoping for - it’s too blue. Still, it came out reasonably well but I’d like to have another go at this technique some time.
