I struggle with making clean cuts in heavy material with an angle grinder so I’ve been working on this guide rail to make it a bit easier. It’s a work in progress - I’m not totally happy with it yet. The choice to use bearing wheels only on the top and bottom instead of on all four sides means there’s just enough flex to put the wheel out of square and cause it to lock up while cutting which is both irritating and dangerous. This can be remedied by really carefully clamping down the material being cut but it isn’t a easy as I’d like it to be. So, yeah - still working on it.
