This came out OK. I wanted something for holding small parts steady in the drill press but the off the shelf solutions cost hundreds. The jaws are replaceable and made from aluminum. The handle uses a universal joint from a socket set and the bit bolt on the end can be loosened and tightened with the same socket that’s always in one of my drivers for clamping things onto the welding table. It’s not as smooth as I’d like but it does the job.
