My mother taught me to use a sewing machine. The Singer was my first machine and I don’t have any complaints. I’ve been pretty rough on it and it still works. Eventually I needed something beefier for webbing and heavy fabrics and that’s where the Sailrite comes in. That is a tool in a different class and will almost certainly outlive me.
